Son of the Soil
Nigerian’s are the most educated immigrant group in the United States of America, our culture and spirit is felt around the world. When I visited home for the first time since I was a baby I investigated some of the nuances of my home town Benin City, Nigeria. My parents created a computer lab at St. Maria Goretti Boarding School and I got to sit in a Native Medicine ceremony. These pictures are a glimpse into the energy of that journey back home.
