NFL DOCUMENTARIES

NFL 360 x NFL OCG

I had dreams of playing in the NFL as a child and now I’ve fulfilled my dream of “making it to the league” through the vehicle of documentary film. I was the inaugural NFL Films Fellow. I worked at the NFL Films headquarters on everything from Inside the NFL and Gameday All Access to Road to The Playoffs and A Football Life. From that experience, I added to my film school education and honed my craft even more. I currently work at the NFL’s Los Angeles office on the Emmy Award-Winning show, NFL 360, and NFL Gameday Morning. I travel the world and work with today’s and yesterday’s football legends making hard-hitting documentaries that chronicle life off the field.

VIRTUAL REALITY

GREENWOOD AVE VR.

Greenwood Avenue VR is an experience that brings Black Wall Street to life and revisits the tragic events of the 1920 Race Massacre in Tulsa Oklahoma through the lens of a 14-year-old girl experiencing her first kiss. I was a producer on this project and I’m proud to be on the leading edge of technology and storytelling. I look forward to breaking new ground as this medium develops.

The experience was screened most recently at Atlanta Film Festival and Slamdance.

As a nerdy jock, I have a very unconventional route to filmmaking and a very unique perspective that helps me delve into genres ranging from sci-fi dramas to comedy. You will see notes of fantasy, neo-realism, and poetic cinema in my fictional work that stems from my background in documentary storytelling and an imagination spurred by my research in mythology and primordial energies. I believe that storytellers have the opportunity and the responsibility to shape culture by shaping the myths that we consume.
